Finger Weeder Set for Market Garden Double Wheel Hoe

The hoeing fingers allow mechanical weeding of the crop row in addition to a weeding tool.

Located at the rear of the market garden hoe, the hoeing fingers work by fracturing the soil from the root of the growing crop. Thus, unwanted weeds at the filament/cotyledon stage are uprooted from the row, thus providing effective weed control.

Made of polyurethane, the hoeing fingers with a diameter of Ø250mm are suitable for all types of soil and on crops with a minimum inter-row spacing of 25cm. Due to the difference in diameter, the drive located in the lower position of the hoeing fingers mechanically drives the flexible part of the fingers slightly faster, thus achieving the weeding effect on the row of crops .

The entire device is mounted on a compression spring support in order to have a floating but constant working depth on the row. Very widely used on tractor-mounted hoeing machines or in large-scale cultivation, hoeing fingers are now available on manual market garden hoeing machines.
