The market gardening rake is the essential tool for farms working on small surfaces according to the method of Jean-Martin Fortier or Eliot Coleman.

Made of aluminum, this rake is perfect for breaking up small clods of soil, leveling the bed before planting, and pulling clods and stones into the footpath. It also allows you to mix the compost on the top of the bed in the case of an amendment.

With a width of 75cm or 100cm, the robust but light design allows its user to work efficiently in the preparation of beds. The tine length is 10cm.

The tines (delivered unassembled) of 10cm height are fixed on a cylindrical tube adjustable in orientation which allows to adjust the working depth :
  • Tine in straight position : Catch the stones in depth to bring them back to the foot pass
  • Tine in median position : Work on the surface to refine the soil and remove the small stones on the surface without bringing up the clods in depth.
