Bio-Discs For Terrateck Wheel Hoe

The Bio-discs is a tool composed of two parabolic discs and two straight discs for weeding or precision earthing in the row. For cultivating rows and carrying out precision weeding in light soils, the Terrateck Bio-discs are the ideal tool. It is installed on a double market garden hoe and has two positions: one for clearing the row of vegetables, the other for weeding (by removing) with precision.

Thanks to the ridging position, the Bio-discs bring the soil back into the row to smother the weed seedlings. It is the ideal tool for your bean, onion or leek seedlings. The Bio-discs are also perfect for weeding young seedlings. Equipped with two parabolas, the tool follows the seeding lines, spreads the soil at the edge of the seeding, thus removing the seedlings as close as possible to the crops. This provides precision weeding. The Bio-discs is also equipped with two straight discs to manage the working depth of the two parabolas. They allow you to follow the seeding line as closely as possible. With the weeding position, you can work without moving as much soil as with the hoeing tools.

Please note that bio-discs should not be used on stony soils. The work will not be uniform. Depending on the type of soil, it may also be advisable to remove the right disc to avoid clogging.
